Sugar Bomb is a Cleveland, Ohio based craft candy company making high quality candies, chocolates, and confections. We use the highest quality ingredients, and expert techniques to make our products the best that we can. From classics, like glass candy and lollipops, to modern creations, like our local bacon toffee, we strive to create the best tasting confections you can find.
We are a cottage business that currently can be found at area farmer’s markets and various special events. We will also take orders via email or phone. We offer the perfect options for your special events or holiday gifts. You can choose any of our current offerings or we can work with you to create the perfect thing to wow your friends, colleagues and family. We have also been known to do an occasional special event cake or two.
Diana Jankowski is the driving force behind sugar bomb. She grew up in a family of bakers spending the bulk of her childhood in the family bakery in Ashtabula, Ohio. After graduating from pastry school she went on to work her way up through the pastry kitchens of the Ritz-Carlton, Lockkeeper’s, and few other area restaurants before becoming the pastry chef at Lakewood’s 3 birds restaurant and then Blue Point Grille. Now, that wealth of experience has culminated in the creation of sugar bomb confections. Backing her up in this venture is her husband/business partner Matthew Jankowski. While honing his craft on the savory side of the line, he always paid close attention to what was going on in pastry land. Currently serving as the executive chef of Provenance at the Cleveland museum of art, his main role in sugar bomb is helping to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
